History Tutoring, Oxford HAT and Personal Statements
With 30 years of teaching and tutoring experience in leading UK independent schools, David is able to offer academic support to students doing GCSE, IGCSE, A Level or IB History. Tutorials can be arranged online through a learning platform with shared resources and guidance notes. David’s tutorials address both content and exam preparation and are designed to boost understanding and confidence. With clear guidance on exam marking criteria, David can support students to realise the highest grades in a thorough and enjoyable way.
David has tutored 13+ candidates for Scholarships to leading public schools including Eton, Winchester and Harrow. In addition, David has supported many successful students to prepare for the Oxford History Aptitude Test (HAT) and Oxbridge academic interviews. Preparation can be given over a series of months starting from August through to December. Guidance can be given on preparing UCAS personal statements and university selection.
