UK independent schools will conduct assessments as part of the admission process to ensure that the applicant has the necessary skills to access the curriculum and to thrive in the setting. To support this process, many schools request that candidates complete the UKiset online adaptive entry test which measures language, mathematics, verbal and non-verbal problem solving and aptitude for learning skills. The test takes two hours to complete and results are released after 3 working days.
The test costs £295 to complete and results will be sent to up to five schools which can be identified before or after the assessment. The results remain live for 12 months and can be re-sat 6 months following the initial assessment.
